Eternity
I know a while back the "theme" was favorite jewelry or something along those lines. I decided to do that theme today because I got nothing else. So here is my e-ring, wedding band, and Ben's "work" ring.

Day 22

GSM RIP
Today in this day in history a dear friend passed away 4 years ago. Garrett and a few friends were tubing in the river and he got sucked into an underwater whirlpool needless to say he was not able to get out and passed away.

A bunch of his friends wrote on the wall not too far away from where he left this Earth as a reminder of a great friend that passed. Every year friends go back to remember him.

We miss you Garrett!

Day 21

Guess flowers and baby stuff are about the only things I take pictures of. lol

Day 20

The last thing....
...to finish the nursery we got in the mail today! Finally after 38 weeks her nursery is finally done. Her is the picture of the changing table. The bins hold diapers, "medical stuff" toys, and another one for extra diapers!

I am so excited that her room is done!

Day 19

Colorful Arizona
One of the best things about Arizona is how blue the sky is...actually one of the best things about AZ is all the colors period. Always a blue sky, pretty color trees, pretty sunsets and rises, cactus', cactus' in bloom, palm trees, the desert. Really it is a pretty state! Today's photo is the blue sky along with a pretty pink tree.

Day 18

Oh the things you see...
....when you look through weird things. Was walking to go get the mail today and normally I dont pay attention to whats going on around me because I have been on that walk many many times before. Today, was different. I actually paid attention and when I looked through one of the drain pipes and saw the trees and sky. I thought it was an unusual. So I went back home and got my camera and went back out to take the picture.

Day 17

Beautiful Sunset
One of the only reasons I love Arizona....because of the beautiful sunsets (and I am sure sunrises if I was ever up that early!)

Day 16

Welcome to Flagstaff
Nothing really interesting happened today so I took a picture of the one of the peaks in Flag. Nothing all that cool but whatever, now you know what part of Flagstaff looks like during the summer! The rest of the picture is on campus at Northern Arizona University.

Day 15

"I shopped the killer Kohl's sale"
And got one heck of a deal!!!!! We needed a few more outfits for Maddy means we were missing a lot of 6 month stuff. We got a coupon for 30% off your entire purchase, so we went to Kohl's and I am so glad that we did! My hubby was able to get 3 t-shirts, a tie, and a new back-pack for school. We got Maddy, 6 complete outfits and 2 more pairs of pants for when the Carter's onesies come in that I ordered. We got all of that for under 100 bucks. And we saved $186!!!! Whooo! Finally, everything for Maddy is done....other than setting everything up, but I need all that to come in first!



Winter outfit. I was trying to just find a jacket, but it was cheaper to buy the 3 piece set than a jacket. How sad is that?

An outfit for each mommy and daddy. The one with the pants says Daddy loves me, and the skirt one says Mommy loves me! Finally, we are able to break up all the pink and add some other colors into the mix!

Day 14

Cute Outfit
After doing inventory of all the baby clothes, I realized that we were missing 6 months bad! We only had a couple of things. Last night we went shopping at Target to finish up the rest of the stuff we needed and stumbled across this cute little outfit. I figured it would be perfect for 6 months means it will be cold and snowy here by the time she can fit into it. Hooray for having another outfit she can wear come winter time!

Day 13

37 weeks
Pretty simple today, here is the belly at 37 weeks pregnant!

Day 12

Surprise Package
Today we got a package in the mail from Ben's mom. We opened it to find a gift from them. In it was the items in the picture, along with some thank you cards and some stamps. I was very confused as to why we needed thank you cards. Than we look further into the package to find a 3 ring binder, we open that to find that they threw us a gift card shower!!!! How cool is that, they sent invites to everyone and in the invite I would guess that they asked for everyone to write Madison a note and send a family picture. So not only do we have gift cards, but she has notes from everyone and a picture of everyone! It is awesome!!

Day 11

Our brick
Our wedding venue had a really cool thing that they did for each wedding. Each couple got a brick with the bride and grooms name on it. Than they had a brick path where after the reception the couple went and laid the brick into the path. Your brick stays there till well a long long time!
For me, Ben has always wanted to design us a house and we will have brick in it, so I wanted to order an extra one for when that day does happen that we can lay that brick in our house and have a reminder of our wedding. In the mean time it sits on our shelf in our bedroom.

Day 10

Last Time Golfing...
I about forgot about today's picture! Oops! Gotta love that pregnancy brain. Any ways today Ben and I went golfing...well he played I sat in the cart and was his company. So today the pictures are from around the golf course. Today was/is his last day he is able to golf this golf season with school starting up again in 20 days, and baby due in 21 days there will be no time, money, or energy to go playing golf! We had a great time as usual, we always love spending this time together. Even though its not both of us playing its still fun for me to go and watch and be out in the warm sun. I wasn't the only one enjoying the sun either. Baby Madison was happy and awake the entire 4 hours we were there. She loves the sun! Just like her mama as Ben says! It was great weather for golfing, not too hot and not too cold. With the breeze it made it really nice! It was a great "last date"


I think this place would be awesome for paintball!

I really wanted to go exploring through the woods to see what cool things I could find back there. Maybe next time!

Day 9

Pretty Flower
I guess I have a thing with flowers this month! Not really a reason to why I took the picture other than the fact that it was pretty especially with the clouds in the background. The picture is not edited in any way which I think makes it even cooler but that is just me!

Day Eight

When the sun hits just right

You get pretty colors!!! We were walking downtown and because we are such an artsy fartsy town we have a lot of cool things downtown.

Well these cool glass things are awesome when the light hits just right. You get all sorts of pretty colors on the walls. And depending on where you stand you get different colors.

The glass has an awesome texture to it, that you get an awesome pattern on the wall. Granted the wall has some texture to it as well so that helps add some more coolness to it!

Day 7

I can still see.....

My feet!!!! I am very proud of this fact. I have 24ish days left and I still can see my feet. Not too many pregnant woman can say this! I am also able to paint my toe nails as I did before I took this picture :)

Day 6

Counting down the days!
After yesterday's picture this picture is pretty lame but whatever. Cant have all totally awesome pictures everyday right?

I have a count down going on in Maddy's nursery that I update everyday (mainly because I have nothing else to do lol) So today was 25 days left till D-day....28 days till I think she will come, but we shall see!

Day 5

Slippery Rock
One of the coolest places in Arizona. All of the rocks have so much moss and stuff on them, that you literally can slide down the rocks like a slide. Its way cool. There are cliffs that you can jump off of and into the water. Tons of places that you can go hiking and exploring. Slippery rock park goes for a while, so there is tons to see and do. Plus its gorgeous so there are a lot of photo ops :)






There are also cliffs that you can jump off of into the water. The water is like 12+ feet deep in most of these areas.

Day 4

Our baby!
I realize that this is kind of cheating means I actually didn't take the picture today...in fact I didnt take the picture at all, but it was taken exactly a year from today.
On this day last year, we had to give our little baby away. It was the saddest day in my entire life. I know its just a puppy, but he was our little bugger. And means Ben gave him to me as a gift it was even harder to give him away. I will admit that he drove me nuts a lot of the time, but he was such a loving and playful puppy it was hard to stay mad at him. He just had that face that you couldn't stay mad at. And when he knew he was in trouble he would come and snuggle with you. He knew how to suck up. It was so cute :)
Luckily, we were able to find some loving family to take him in. Ben and I flew to Illinois where his grandparents live. They were nice enough to find him a home. Since then, they have sent us pictures of him. And as much as it breaks my heart to see those pictures, it is nice to know that he is in a loving family. We still miss him to this day, and I have told Ben many times that I am going to find out where those people live and I am going to go steal him back. Ben just laughs. I would never do that but I wish I could some days.

Day 3

Cutest bed time book EVER

My mom bought this book for Maddy and I plan to read it to her every night. Its the cutest little book that I have read...and trust me I have read a lot of baby type books. I highly recommend everyone getting this book for their child. It even comes in a board book version but its not as good as the full book.

Day 2

Presents in the Mail
You know its sad that this is only day 2 of this thing and I already struggled to figure out what to take a picture of. Being the photographer that I am, I want the pictures to all be sweet, but I have been thinking to myself that once our little one is here, I wont have time to take bad ass pictures everyday. I will be too busy. So who cares right? Well thanks to my husbands grandma who sent a package today for Madison I now have my picture of what she sent. So thanks grandma Paul, you are a life saver!

In her package, she made a cute little blanket (even though Maddy already has like 7+ blankets another cant hurt right....especially since we live at 7000 feet elevation!) Along with the blanket she also made a cute little bib. Also, there was a little onesie and it is in a big enough size too! Whooo!
